A Little About Me, Cindy

Born and raised in San Diego - I will never leave - it’s too gorgeous here!  Both my parents are immigrants and had the foresight to create a home in America. I am forever proud of my Hispanic and Sicilian heritage. I love visiting Mexico several times a year and wish I could visit Europe more often. I have an incredibly supportive and fun husband and three very handsome sons. We have two dogs and two cats that all drive us batty but we love them with all our hearts.

I have been teaching TK since 2011. Since then, I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education (love capitalizing those letters!) and my Child Development Program Director Permit (those capitals, too!). I also realized during that time that there were no literature books just for TK. TK teachers would use kindergarten or preschool books and alter the text while reading them to their students. 

I did my research, wrote, edited, erased, wrote, edited, erased, and finally had a manuscript I was happy with.
